Dr. Selim El Sayegh is a Former Minister of Social Affairs (November 2009-June2011), Member of World Bank Board for Social Politics in the MENA region. He is Member of Kataeb Political Bureau and Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Kataeb Party since 2008, Vice-President-2 of Kataeb Party 2008-2011. His university degrees are: Doctor of Philosophy in Law, France, 1992, with Honours, National and European Accreditation as Director of Research for Ph.D. 1992, Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies (DEA or M.Phil) in history (1990), Diplôme D’Etudes Superieures Specialisees (DESS or M. Phil) in Diplomacy and Law of International Organizations (1990), Masters of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy (1989). His Academic Experience includes these principle Functions: Maître de conferences (HDR) since 1993) at the University of Paris XI, President of CADMOS center (Center for Analysis of Conflicts and their modes of Settlement), Director of Master in Diplomacy and International Negotiations in la Sagesse University – Lebanon, Adjunct Professeur at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales of Paris center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies, Professor at The American University of Paris, Professor at the American Graduate School for International Relations and Diplomacy, Adjunct Professor at The Ecole Des Officiers de la Gendarmerie Nationale, Adjunct Professor at the Institut des Etudes et des Relations Internationales (ILERI).
