Beirut 12-13/10/1430H—1-2/10/2009

In the frame of the declaration of Beirut as the world book capital for 2009, ATF organized, in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Culture a conference on the writing and publishing movement in the Arab world, under the theme of “Publish o book… Develop a nation”.

National, public and private figures and institutions, as well as the civil society organizations, unions and the bodies concerned with intellectual issues, writing, publishing and distributing in the Arab World has been invited to the conference. The conference tackled four main topics which are writing, publishing, distributing and reading. Each topic encompasses a number of important issues.
